After successfully completing my last 30-day challenge, I have decided to start a second. The last challenge was to do push-ups everyday. When I started I could do all of 5. Today I am still doing push-ups but can now do approximately 30 and some times as many as 40.
So onto the new challenge, Starting September 1st through the end of September I will be writing 200 words, about something, nothing, simply what pops into my head while writing.
This is where it gets tough, I have just hit the 80-word mark, and my brain stops. I have been told that if you just keep writing, eventually you will get something onto the page. The original inspiration for these 30-day challenges came from a Ted presentation; check the link at the end for more details. I am not sure why it’s so tough for me to focus on just sitting still and writing, but it is. I get to a point where I can’t type anymore, and just have to get out the seat. Get some coffee, go to the bathroom, walk down the hall and talk to someone. Hopefully this challenge will help me get past some of the ADHD tendencies I have.
There a little over two hundred words, nothing exciting, or provocative here. Just writing something everyday.
